Non-Community Students

ADMISSION TESTS

In order to obtain the admission to the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila, students must follow an online procedure and submit a list of documents (FOREIGN STUDENTS) and sustain an entrance exam.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST

Non-EU students must take an Italian language test before the entrance exam.

The students must pass the Italian language test or they can not be admitted to the further entrance exams.

Students applying for a second cycle course (diploma accademico di secondo livello) must only pass the Italian language test, when their first level degree will be considered compatible with the chosen path.

For all study courses the following category is exempted from the Italian language test, while it stays subjected to the limits of the specific quota of places reserved for foreign students residing abroad. This category is represented by those students who have obtained certificates of competence in the Italian language with a grade not inferior to B2 level of the Council of Europe, awarded as determined by the CLIQ (Quality Certificate of the Italian Language) quality system, which unites in one association the current certification bodies (University for Foreigners of Perugia, University for Foreigners of Siena, Roma Tre University and the Dante Alighieri Society), also in convention with Italian Institutes of Culture abroad or other institutions. These certifications may be gained in the country of origin, in the approved exam centers found all over the world.

ENROLLEMENT

Once passed the admission test, students can be enrolled in the Academy. The enrolment must be made by an online procedure.
